What you feel doesn’t match what you’re being told?
You’re stuck and not sure how to break the routines?
You desire a community of supportive, uplifting peers?
You want other voices in the mix that have your best interests at heart?
You feel lost on what to do when not actually with your voice teacher or coach?
Community, Affirmation, Analysis, & Observation
What If You Instead Felt…?
Supported and affirmed.
Seen and heard.
Confident in your abilities.
Comfortable with imperfection.
Part of a welcoming community.
Secure in your instincts and self-analysis.
Certain about your vocal health.
My Goal For You:
Is to help take you away from uncertainty, self-consciousness, fear, self-reliance, and lack of confidence
to…
A warm & welcoming community built on positive analysis & observation, good vocal health, captivating storytelling, confidence, and secure self-knowledge.
“Lead with Heart, Open Minds, and Unlock One’s Greatest Potential.”
This class is about learning how to Free Your Voice based on the central ideas of storytelling, observation, self-analysis, and community.
We are here to answer: How can you become confident in making the necessary adjustments for yourself when on the fly or without a vocal coach around? This class is all about making your vocal performances - for auditions, shows, or any reason - as healthy, captivating, and professional as possible, with people who will catch you if you fall and lift you up in your successes.
In order to achieve this, you will sing for the class - any material you need or choose - for self-analysis, positive feedback from the group, and coaching from Michael. You will learn to analyze your own vocal needs through observation, as well as through the process of learning how to give feedback to your peers. Michael will guide you through the process and deliver little nuggets of wisdom, and we will all celebrate your wins and progress together!

Who Am I?
I am a Composer-Lyricist, librettist, Performer, Vocal Coach, Musical Director, and YouTube Educator currently residing in New York City. I graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a B.A. in Theatre-English (Summa Cum Laude with Honors and several distinctions), and I am also an alumnus of the esteemed Lehman Engel BMI Musical Theatre Writing Workshop as a lyricist.
I have worked as a Vocal Coach, Audition Coach, Voice Teacher, and Musical Director for over 10 years with theatrical professionals at all levels. My students have been cast in shows around the country at regional theaters and on tours, and have been called back multiple times for both Broadway and Off-Broadway.
As a writer, I’ve written four full-length musical theatre pieces, including my original musicals The King’s Legacy and ‘S Wonderful: An Evening with George Gershwin, which both received world premiere productions at the Bristol Valley Theater in Naples, NY (August 2019 and 2021 respectively). I continue to collaborate on other projects as well, including a musical adaptation of The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, which received its first workshop reading in October 2018. I’m also collaborating on a family-oriented musical comedy set in the world of competitive baton twirling, based off my family's history with the sport!
In addition to the writing, I enjoy performing at every possible opportunity and feel particularly lucky to have found a performance home at the Bristol Valley Theater since 2014.
