I have worked as a writing coach, script consultant, and dramaturg in various capacities for over 10 years and at all theatrical levels. Let’s make some work together!
***The next round begins the week of 2/17/25***
The Mastery Accelerator Program (MAP)
Part Mastermind, Part Accountability Group, and Part Personal Development Course built for High Performers
The Atmosphere:
Intimate, Small-Group - Everyone becomes very familiar with one another and all the projects in the section of the MAP.
Warm, Welcoming, Affirmative - Based upon the same principles and Feedback Process as the entire MTWC.
High-Achieving - Made for those who are serious about their work, goals, and growth.
Generative & Generous - All members are there to uplift the works of their peers in addition to their own projects, offering all they are able.
Vibrant Community - The importance of energy from a community built on development through connection cannot be overemphasized.
The Structure:
6-Month Sessions - A commitment to six months of working toward specific goals can allow for a large amount of growth while avoiding burnout. This program runs twice per year with multiple sections.
High-Touch Facilitation - All sessions are highly structured, led, and facilitated in a way to foster communication, discussion, and growth while centering the artists and their goals.
Hot Seats - On alternating weeks artists will enter the “Hot Seat” to use that time toward their needs. This can be sharing work for feedback, working through a problem, communal group-think, or so much more. Each creative get 1 per month, but if you and a collaborator join, we can chat about what this possibility.
Growth Curriculum - On non-Hot Seat weeks, curriculum is facilitated and led based in creative practices, making creativity sustainable, getting through the slumps, and practical guides to help artists create toward their goals.
Accountability - Built into the course are specific partnerships through the 6-month journey, given a guaranteed 30-minute time on Curriculum weeks (though many keep in touch and add more sessions beyond this minimum).
Community - Between sessions with will have access to your section’s community of creatives, your facilitator, and the entire MTWC community as well.
The Projects:
Although MAP was built to be housed inside and under the Musical Theatre Writing Collective, not all creative projects and goals are centered around pieces of musical theatre. Many artists are working on various phases of a musical project (planning, learning, writing, revising, developing, submitting, producing, etc.), but not all projects live in this realm. We’ve had books, information gathering, creative practice, and research all as included goals.
The Mission
I believe that there is no one method that fits everyone, but that every person and project is different. As a result, I strive to provide fully individualized feedback and education that meets people where they are and moves them toward their goals.
I’m a life-long learner, and I always look for new ways to help people up-level themselves and their projects. Helping others achieve their goals is one of my all-time favorite activities. I’ve collected a sizable base of resources and knowledge over the years, which I use to help others expand their own toolkits through various methodologies. Using my well-earned skills and experience, I try to find what routes work the best for the individual person and project to give the best possible opportunities for success.
I firmly believe in questioning what we understand, always with an eye toward self-analysis and comprehension. It is our job to make other people feel through the stories we tell, and without doing harm to our audiences or to ourselves. So I focus on using rock solid foundations and the specific goals of each individual writer and project to help you tell the best story you are able to tell with the tools you have available.
My personal mission is to open peoples’ minds to what is possible for themselves and for the world, always through the lens of love. And it is with that intent that I approach every client, session, and project. I so look forward to meeting you!
